MOSCOW, Dec 10 (PRIME) -- Russia has to reduce its output of plastic utensils slowly and simultaneously with introduction of better technologies, President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday at a meeting with the representatives of the Human Rights Council.
“Regarding disposable tableware, plastics and so on…We have to reduce it gradually,” he said, adding that Russia has to introduce the best technologies it can in its largest cities.
“This is a pressing issue. But we should act cautiously so that we don’t inflict damage on the industry. But we definitely have to act. We have to act regarding the food wastes,” he said.
